The Gayborhood
If you are fortunate enough to live in the Northwest Quadrant of
Dallas, you are a resident of "The Gayborhood." Loosely defined as
the area North of Northwest Highway and West of the Dallas North
Tollway, the Gayborhood is both an area and a family.
The Gayborhood originated in 2001. It was an
assembly of gay and lesbian friends who had moved into the area and
were seeking community with their neighbors. In less than two years,
we have become a group of nearly 300! We gather for dinner and drinks
twice each month: on the Second Tuesday and the Fourth Thursday.
While we especially strive to bring together
those who live in the Gaybohood area, all are welcome to come to our
dinners.
